Structurally, the Novak Console Table is classic mid century Parsons design: simple, understated and angular. But “va-va-voom” (to quote South), the sides of the table, inside and out, are richly faceted in a hand-carved geometric pattern. What have we here? Modernism meets Brutalism with a global ethnic vibe – and clearly it all works.
